Age Group Table

Fall 2009 Age Groups

The table lists the birth date ranges for each age group.

To play in our U6 league, you must be 5 years old by July 31, 2009 AND be entering kindergarten.  There are no exceptions to the under 6 program.  If you are interested in programs for pre-schoolers or 4 year old kindergarten children, please check with other community groups such as The Bladium and Oakland Parks and Recreation Programs.  Thank you for understanding, we look forward to starting your child the year that they become eligible.

Our age groups are determined by California Youth Soccer Association, not by Montclair or Jack London.  Questions about age groups should be directed to www.cysanorth.org.

• U 8 born 08/01/2001 to 07/31/2004   for 6 and 7 year olds
• U10 born 08/01/1999 to 07/31/2001  for 8 and 9 year olds
• U12 born 08/01/1997 to 07/31/1999  for 10 and 11 year olds
• U14 born 08/01/1995 to 07/31/1997  for 12 and 13 year olds
• U16 born 08/01/1993 to 07/31/1995  for 13 and 14 year olds
• U19 born 08/01/1990 to 07/31/1993  for 15-18 year olds
