
The JLYSSL End of Season Tournament is held after the Fall season ends, before Thanksgiving. It is open to all U10 through U14 Class 4 teams. This event is the highlight of the season for many players and their families. It's a fun, free, well-loved and popular local community soccer weekend. This event is organized by the League with all the soccer clubs contributing volunteers. Entry requirements, application instructions, etc. can be found below.

Entry Requirements
Teams wishing to participate in the tournament must meet all of the following requirements:
- Referee (except for first year U10 teams): must designate a licensed referee who will sign up to referee games during the Tournament
- Field Marshall: must have a team volunteer that will commit to being a Field Marshall for at least two hours Saturday or Sunday.
- Application: Must submit tournament application by the application deadline.
Expectations of Each Team
Each team must provide a team field marshal and a referee. The team field marshal will be assigned one or two two-hour slots on the tournament weekend. The team referee is expected to sign up for at least two tournament games.

Club Tournament Field Marshall Coordinator
Each Club whose teams participate in this Tournament must designate a Field Marshall Coordinator. If you are interested, please contact our club registrar PamOfOak@aol.com for the MSC position.
This person will be responsible for:
- Meeting with the Tournament Coordinator to go over the duties below
- Contacting the volunteers from each team from his/her Club who is accepted into the Tournament and arranging for 1-2 Field Marshalls for each field that is assigned to his/her Club.
- Training the Field Marshalls on their duties and giving them a copy of the Field Marshall Guide
- Providing scoreboards markers for each flight playing at each field assigned to his/her Club and markers to record the results of each game.
- Providing tables, chairs, umbrellas, and refreshments for the Field Marshalls at each field for both days.
- Checking each Field at the start of each day to make sure there is adequate Field Marshall coverage and that the tables, umbrellas and scoreboards are set up.
- Checking each Field at the end of each day to make sure they are left in good condition and that the tables, umbrellas and scoreboards are taken down.
- Being on call to assist his Field Marshall with any questions or problems during the Tournament and notifying the Tournament coordinator of any serious problems that occur at his Club’s fields.
- Obtaining the trophies and/or medals from the JLYSSL Administrator (Gary Middleton) and getting them to the fields on Sunday morning. Identifying who will hand out the trophies and/or medals after the Championship and Consolation games.
