Team Referee Requirements

The league board of directory approved the following new team referee requirement for Fall 2009

 Class IV (U10 to U14); Class III (U10)
- ONE ADULT referee to officiate 6 games as Center Referee
- 3 of the 6 games can be substituted by being AR in U15+ games - The duty has to be fulfilled by only ONE ADULT referee.  - First year Class IV U10 teams are exempted - 0 fine if the team cannot fulfill this requirement - This will not affect the eligibility of End of Season Class IV tournament

Class IV (U16 to U19) - 2 referees (minimum 1 adult) to officiate 12 games as Center Referee - 3 of the 12 games can be substituted by being AR in U15+ games - The duty can be split by at most 3 referees  - At least 6 games to be officiated by adult - 0 fine if the team cannot fulfill this requirement

Class III (U12 to U19) - 2 referees (minimum 1 adult) to officiate 12 games as Center Referee - 3 of the 12 games can be substituted by being AR in U15+ games - The duty can be split by at most 3 referees  - At least 6 games to be officiated by adult- 0 fine if the team cannot fulfill this requirement

Class I - 2 referees for U10 (minimum 1 adult) to officiate 10 games  - 3 referees for U11-U19 (minimum 2 adults) to officiate 15 games  - All teams encouraged to have 4 referees  - $50 fine per game not covered Each referee can be affiliated to at most 2 teams. Every team must carry a registered Adult referee.
 For Class I, Class III and Class IV U16+ teams, this adult referee must be at least Grade 8.
