Clippers Opportunities

Each Clipper Team must have at least one Clipper volunteer. Clipper volunteer opportunities are listed below. The Clipper volunteers from each team will be assigned and coordinated by the Clipper Volunteer Coordinator. Each team must designate a Clipper Volunteer and receive approval of the Clipper Volunteer Coordinator for the volunteer position requested.

Here is a list of the volunteer opportunities we need filled. Contact the volunteer coordinator or the Clippers Director clippers@montclairsoccer.org or  MSCVolunteers@aol.com   to volunteer. 

1. Clipper Assistant Director
   • - **Work with Clipper Director as needed. This is a new position, so YOU decide how it should be done!
2. Clipper Volunteer Coordinator - "Deborah Lewis" debtech@pacbell.net
3. Clipper MSC Logo Clothing Sales - "Craig Shields"rockridgegeo@sbcglobal.net
4. Clipper Registration Coordinator - Work with the Clipper coaches and registrar to insure all players get registered correctly and quickly.
5. Clipper Uniform Manager - Estrella Parker, estrellaparker@yahoo.com
6. Clipper Equipment Coordinator - "Shelly Wong" shelly@sitcomfurniture.net
7. Clipper Tournament Coordinator - Assist team managers/coaches with selecting tournaments, completing tournament applications etc.
8. Clipper Referee Coordinator- Make sure all teams are fulfilling their referee requirement.
9. Clipper Ref-Game Coordinator - Make sure that all Clipper games have referees during the season.
10. Clipper Team Manager Mentor helps team managers organize their teams, create a library of sample team handouts / communications / documents for team managers to use.
11. Clipper Fundraising-Sponsorship Committee - 3-5 volunteers Raise Funds for Clipper players that are unable to pay for uniforms, registration and Clipper fees.
12. Clipper Coach Mentoring - Identify possible mentor and assistant coaches for Clipper coaches in cooperation with the Clipper Director and Clipper coaches
13. Clipper Coach Coaching Sessions - Arrange a coaching session for Clipper
14. Clipper End of Year Get Together - (2-3 volunteers) "Veronica Carney" veronicacarne@hotmail.com Organize a Clipper get together at the end of the year.
15. New Clipper Player-Parent Meeting Coordinator - Arrange a beginning of year information meeting for new players/parents in the Clipper program.
16. Clipper Team Camp Coordinator - Make sure that all Clipper players attend team camp, even if they are not in town on the dates of their own team camp. Coordinate with Clipper coaches and 24/7 trainers.
17. Clipper Publicity Coordinator - Collect news about Clipper teams re: tournament etc and put the articles in the MSC newsletter and local papers
18. Clipper Tryout Publicity Coordinator - Coordinate publicity for next year's tryouts
19. Positive Coaching Association Coordinator - Make sure all coaches have attended PCA workshops. Work with Clipper team PCA coordinators.
