Tournament Field Marshalls are the official recordkeepers of tournament games. 

 

These positions are to be filled by parents of players in the Under 12 age group.

 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Class 4 end of year tournament U10-U14
• Help keep things moving smoothly
• Help keep the official records of wins-losses.

 

Time Commitment

2+ hours depending on how many games you marshall.

 

Required Experience

Nope. The directions at the field are clear and easy to follow.

Generally the 3rd weekend in November

Since this is targeted at U12 parents, only 2 years!

Detailed Instructions

1. Read over the rules, particularly those related to overtime games
2. Put up large scoreboard for game day
3. Direct coaches, parents, referees, players to correct fields
4. Pass out game cards to coaches & be sure that both coaches fill them out
5. Return filled out game card to referee
6. Collect game cards from referees after the games
7. Using Field Marshall instructions, post scores & tally point for teams on the scoreboard
8. If playoff format is in effect for day 2, inform teams of the time & field for their next day's games
9. Collect ALL materials at the end of day 1 & make sure that they are returned in time for the first game on day 2
10. Assist the referees in settling ALL problems 
11. Use your cell phone to contact Tournament Director as is necessary
